There are plenty of new flight routes launching from the UAE in 2025 for travellers who want to make this the year they experience a new destination. As major regional airlines expand their global networks, there are new ways to fly to India, the US and Eastern Europe, as well as emerging destinations in Africa and the return of some staple cities. For short Eid or weekend breaks and longer holidays alike, here are the most exciting new flight routes launching from the UAE in 2025, including flights from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah.

Etihad Airways has launched an astonishing 10 new routes from Abu Dhabi this year as it grows its network to 90 destinations in more than 50 countries. Popular Indian airline IndiGo has announced two new routes connecting the Indian cities of Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneswar with Abu Dhabi. Flights between Bhubaneswar and Abu Dhabi will operate three times a week from 12 June, while the Visakhapatnam to Abu Dhabi route will operate four times a week from 13 June. Fellow Indian carrier, Akasa Air, launched new services to Abu Dhabi from Ahmedabad and Bengaluru as of 1 March.

Flydubai grows summer routes adding daily Al Alamein flights in Northern Egypt June 21 to Sept 7 plus Antalya Turkey flights June 5 through Sept 30.


Flights are back for summer to Skopje North Macedonia Bodrum Trabzon Batumi Corfu Dubrovnik Mykonos Olbia Santorini plus Tivat.


Starting April 1 Flydubai might begin flying to Pisa Italy three times a week giving Dubai folk easier access to Tuscany.
Come winter 2025 Flydubai plans four fresh European routes which? Chișinău, Iași, Riga, Vilnius.
Eastward expansion? Well, China Southern now flies weekly to Shenyang, China that started December 2024.
Good news IndiGo now offers direct flights from Dubai to Pune—convenient for UAE residents and their summer travels, which start earlier this year, timed with Eid Al-Adha in June.

Emirates is growing all over; new Shenzhen flights launch July 1 plus more Vietnam and Cambodia routes through Bangkok. From June 2 expect four weekly Da Nang services and then three weekly Siem Reap flights on June 3. Plus they’re adding routes to Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City and Colombo maybe also Melbourne and Perth. Plus they’re starting A350 flights offering sweet tech across routes in Scotland India Kuwait Bahrain. Starting in January, the carrier flew to Copenhagen again and by February first, it would likely restore services to both Beirut and Baghdad.

  • Sochi, Russia – Air Arabia
  • Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Air Arabia

Air Arabia, It carved out a niche with some cool resort spots people would engage with. From June a budget airline runs three weekly flights connecting Sharjah Sochi its Russian network expands six locations Moscow Kazan Samara Ufa plus Yekaterinburg.

Starting January 30 Air Arabia launched flights direct to Addis Ababa an exciting fast growing African city known for cafes food museums creative vibes. Toward end of 2024 carrier flew also into Yanbu Saudi Arabia Warsaw Poland also Male Maldives once Beirut route opened back up start 2025.
